Jo Pearson is based in the East Midlands with clinics in Ashbourne and Derby City Centre. Jo also runs a
busy 
telephone counselling service.
Academically, following the completion of her Honours Degree in Psychology in 1997 her interest in helping people realise their potential steered her towards a field of natural therapies.
Jo's career began in the voluntary sector as a Samaritan, a helpline for people in crisis, working there also as a supervisor and trainer. Telephone counselling is a specialist form of counselling and with her years of experience with the Samaritans offers an effective service. Jo is a fully trained Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, HypnoBirthing practitioner and Psychotherapist.
Jo also works as a recognised trainer with the UKHA and trains fellow professionals in alternative therapies nationwide using her skills and experience as a Therapist. Jo also works within Secondary schools in the area, helping to raise awareness about HypnoBirthing
Jo is a trustee with the PNI.
Accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH), the HypnoBirthing Institute and Society for Holistic Therapies (SHTC) Jo works closely with GPs, dieticians, midwives and fellow therapists to ensure that clients receive the best possible care, just as they deserve.
